The lovely and gracious Pete’s Mate has a knack for getting flavors and fragrances just right (you should smell her but you don’t get to taste her). After lots of experiments this is our favorite all-purpose sauce, great for brisket, ribs or whatever is smokin’ at your house. Try this first, then experiment with different ingredients to make your own bestest sauce.
This is a great Kansas City-style sauce. Sweet, but not too sweet. A little spice but not hot. Just right.
Sorry, this is not exactly what we make for competition or for gifts, Pete’s Mate has a few slight additions that she refuses to make public but this is better than what you are eating now. I promise.
